Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I pack for my child? Long pants (riding pants or leggings if available), closed toed shoes (riding boots if available), a change of shorts, rain boots, "knock around" shoes (close toed), sunscreen, hat, riding helmet (if available), sunglasses, chair, bugspray, LOTS of water, as well as lunch and snacks.

What if my child has allergies? There are many potential allergens at a riding facility including but not limited to: pollen, bees, wasps and other insects, different types of grasses and flowers, dust, and food products from other potential campers as well as horse feed. If your child has any severe allergies please inform Carrie Ellis Agnew before the start of camp so that proper precautions may be taken. If your child needs/has an eppy pen, inhaler, or other medical products make sure they are packed daily. If your child has mild/seasonal allergies, taking their proper allergy medication beforehand is highly encouraged due to the higher levels of pollen and dust.

Do I need to inform staff of who will be picking up my child daily? If an individual who does not drop off your child is going to be picking them up, please inform Carrie Ellis Agnew the morning of as well as provide the name and phone number of who will be getting them. Ensure that the individual brings a form of ID so that Carrie knows that it is the right person and that they are aware of pick up times.
